How much does a website cost in Orlando?
Most Orlando studios will not put a number on a page. Here are ours, what sits behind each one, and the questions that decide which band your project lands in.
The short answer
A professional website for an Orlando small business generally costs $1,000 to $5,000. A single landing page runs a few hundred dollars. An online store with real payments starts around $4,000. Software — a customer portal, a custom admin panel, a CRM you actually run the business on — starts around $12,000 and goes up from there.
That range is wide because "a website" describes four different products. The rest of this page is about which one you are actually buying, and what moves the price inside each band.
Why so few agencies publish a number
Two honest reasons and one dishonest one. The honest ones: scope genuinely varies, and a fixed number quoted before anyone understands the project is how studios end up losing money on it. The dishonest one: a quote given after the discovery call can be priced to what the room looks like it can pay.
We publish starting prices because the first question every business owner has is whether this conversation is even worth their afternoon. If the number is wrong for you, you should find that out in thirty seconds, not after two meetings.
What each band actually buys.
Starting prices. A final quote is scoped to the project, and we will tell you which band you are in before you spend an hour on a call.
-
01
Landing page — from $299
One focused page with a lead form. Right when you have a single offer, an ad campaign to point somewhere, or you need to exist online by Friday.
-
02
Business website — from $1,099
Six to eight custom pages, content you can edit yourself, and the SEO foundations laid properly at build time. This is what most Orlando businesses are actually asking for.
-
03
Online store — from $3,999
Catalogue, cart, secure card payments, inventory and order handling. The jump from the band above is mostly payments, tax and the operational tooling behind the counter — not the design.
-
04
Portal & CRM — from $12,000
A custom admin panel, roles and permissions, integrations and automation. At this point you are commissioning software, and it is priced like software.
What moves the number inside a band
Page count, but less than you think
The first page of a site is expensive and the tenth is cheap. Design system, typography, components and the build setup are paid for once. Adding pages that reuse them is close to linear and close to cheap — which is why "how many pages?" is a worse question than most people expect.
Who writes the content
This is the single most common cost surprise, and the most common cause of a project stalling for three months. If you supply copy and photos, the build runs to schedule. If we write the copy, that is real work and it is priced. If nobody writes it, the project sits — and a half-finished site earns nothing while it waits.
Integrations
Payments, booking, a CRM, an email platform, an inventory system, a POS. Each one is a system with its own rules that has to be connected and tested. Two integrations is a detail. Seven is a different project.
Whether anyone has to find it
A site that looks good and a site that ranks are not the same deliverable. Technical foundations — clean URLs, real page titles, structured data, speed, a sitemap — are cheap when they are built in and expensive when they are retrofitted. Ongoing SEO and local SEO are separate engagements, quoted separately.
Custom design versus a template
A template is faster and cheaper and will look like a template to anyone who has seen the same one. For a business competing on trust — a law firm, a contractor quoting five-figure jobs — that matters. For a business competing on being found and being open, it usually does not.
The running costs nobody quotes
The build is a one-time number. These are not, and they are what turns a $1,099 site into a real annual figure:
- Domain — roughly $12–20 a year.
- Hosting — anywhere from free for a static site to $20–50 a month for an application with a database.
- Payment processing — a percentage of every sale, not a fixed fee. Budget around 3% and read the actual rate card of whichever processor you pick.
- Care and maintenance — updates, backups, monitoring, small changes. Ours starts at $99/month. Skipping it entirely is a decision, not a saving: an unmaintained site is how people end up rebuilding in two years instead of five.
- Email, booking, CRM subscriptions — whatever the tools you chose charge.
What a cheap site actually costs
The $500 site from a marketplace is a real option and sometimes the right one. What it typically leaves out: content you can edit without going back to the developer, page speed that survives contact with a phone on mobile data, structured data, accessibility, and anyone to call in eighteen months. Those absences are invisible on launch day and expensive later — usually at the point you decide you want to be found in search, and the answer is that the site has to be rebuilt first.
That is not an argument for spending more. It is an argument for knowing which of those you are trading away, and choosing deliberately.
